I’m a 30 year old guy and I’d consider myself an extreme PMO addict. As soon as the alarm went off, I couldn’t get out of my bed without watching a bit of porn or GIFs on my mobile and I jerked-off at least twice a day.
I found this wonderful community some 4 months back and I went through each and every post and how others overcame their addiction. I took that as a motivation and decided to try it myself on a hard mode. I set a goal for myself and decided that if I achieve it, then I would fap once but without porn. Because going without fapping looked impossible when I started this challenge.
My goals were: Lose 5 kg, complete the first level in a new language and also the beginners level in a dance course. So I enrolled for the required courses and started my journey. It was very tough initially but I did a few changes to my routine. Since I watch porn first thing in the morning in my smartphone, I got rid of that and got a basic mobile. I also bought some dumb-bells and whenever I feel the urge, I just hold the dumb-bells in my hand and lift it till my hands really pain. Also the other stuffs like the gym, dance and language lessons kept me occupied.
So now finally after 106 days, I achieved all the three goals that I set and guess what? I now don’t have any urge to fap. I’ve been using my smartphone back since 2 weeks and not even once did I see even a nude pic. All these have given me a tremendous confidence boost. Now I’ve started my second challenge.
The goals this time were similar too: Lose another 5 kg, complete the next levels in dance and the language. In addition I’ve enrolled for a baking course. And the reward that I’ll give to myself if I achieve it? A headphone that I wanted to have for a long time and a self-baked cake all for myself.
I sincerely wanted to thank all you guys from the bottom of my heart without which this transformation would not have been possible. Hope my post can help others too.
