I thought I’d give back with a 90 day report. NoFap has been one incredible journey, and I can honestly say that it changed my life. My first attempt at NoFap lasted 2 weeks, my second lasted another week, and my third attempt has lasted me until 93 days. So much changed about me due to NoFap; confidence, self esteem, ability to socialize, and motivation. Most importantly, I saved my sexuality from a world of objectification and from being bound to technology.
I set out a goal for myself, and that was to complete a 90 day reset. With that being said, I will bid farewell to NoFap and this community, but owe sincere gratitude and thanks for helping me find my new enlightened self. I have decided that I would like to be in control of my sexuality and when I decide to masturbate.
To all of you who are currently abstaining from PMO; try to get to 90 days. It actually will rewire your brain for the better. I would say the first two weeks are the hardest, and then after Day 14 it gets effortless. I never truly had a ‘flatline’, just some days I would be pretty upset but it would work itself out a few more days after that. I had my first wet dream in my life around Day 40, and would have 1 more after that.
As an adolescent, I think not watching porn or masturbating really helps tons. I haven’t watched any pornography in over 4 months, and I think that really is critical for youth my age. I’m only 15, and I want to experiment and discover my sexuality on my own with a girl that means something to me. Lastly, the most important thing that came out of my reboot was the attraction on a purely romantic and non-sexual basis. I believe that because of NoFap, I truly understand what love is, or at least have gotten a glimpse of what it is, and experienced it truly for the first time in my life. Being able to be attracted to a girl without wanting to fuck her is amazing, to say the least.
Although I will no longer be a fapstronaut, I can safely say that NoFap actually works and has real benefits. I will admit around 90% of this is bullshit psuedoscience, but there are actual real effects, and I urge those struggling with masturbation or pornography dependence to give it a try. I understand what this community is here for; those who are addicted to pornography so much that it gets in the way of their sexuality, and that is an occurrence which unfortunately is happening more often. But, as according to science, porn-free masturbation in moderation is healthy and semen retention is complete bullshit. Don’t condition yourself to think each and EVERY time you bust a nut you lose something, because you don’t. This is coming from someone who, as of yesterday, has not masturbated in 93 days. Last night was particularly rewarding.
