I could stop ✋️ it for 5 months at last and here is what I learned:
1- It happened gradually and it had to be so . When a week passed without it ,I couldn’t believe it .
2- Every time I fell ,I didn’t start counting from the beginning. Just lost 1 battle but not the war .
3- I filled my free time with rewarding activities ,AS POSSIBLE, like reading , bettering my job tasks , watching my favorite shows and cooking which helped raising my dopamine
4- writing motivational verses with the date and hanging them on the wall in front of me was really helpful . Don’t care how many times you’ll need to change them .
5- This is one of people’s sins and we’re not supposed to be angels from a true religious perspective, so take it easy upon yourself and only focus on what good deeds you’ll do which will demolish the sins .
