Abstract

The paper explores the influence of pornography, violence, and sexual technologies on contemporary society, with  particular attention to psychological, neurological, and cultural impacts. Through the analysis of scientific studies and empirical research, we explore how exposure to violent and sexually explicit content impacts cognitive and emotional development, potentially fostering aggressive behavior, emotional desensitization, and distorted perceptions of sexual relationships. The role of media and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and dating applications, in accentuating emotional disconnection and fragmentation of interpersonal relationships is discussed. A critical reflection on the long-term effects of these phenomena is proposed, suggesting regulations and educational  interventions to mitigate risks and promote authentic human relationships.
