I haven’t been on here in a long while but I just realised I had passed two years and thought I would drop in.
I don’t have a whole lot to say, It has been so long since I started on NoFap that porn/fapping really just is not a part of my life anymore. I understand early on it can be a day to day struggle but at this point I can honestly say it’s just not a thing I think about.
I have been going through a bit of a rough time lately but I think if I was still fapping and watching porn it would be way worse. Even though I have not been very active lately I still have memories of this sub being supportive and kind.
I have been struggling with some mental health issues recently, but I just started some medication and have been seeing a counselor regularly so hopefully that helps :). Thanks for Asking!
I definitely saw many benefits from starting NoFap, maybe not entirely from NoFap itself, but I started running/Weightlifting and studying harder alongside NoFap which definitely improved my life dramatically. The two ended up going hand in hand, I couldnt fap, and I couldnt stop working out, to quit one would quit the other so it was a really nice motivation to keep going in both regards.
Honestly I think my recent mental health developments can be attributed to the fact that I injured both my wrist and ankle which have prevented me from working out for over six months now :(, but hopefully those treatments start working better soon too.
As for how I view women, I believe it has helped me immensely in not objectifying them, and being unbiased when judging a person. However in my limited sexual experience it is notable that I have had some troubles with rapid ejaculation because of not masturbating, but I would rather that than not being able to ejaculate at all haha, and of course there are ways around that issue.
I started NoFap when I was 16, and I am turning 19 in a couple months.
